Jesus the reason for the season. As the excerpt of the song reads, its the season to celebrate the joy and hope that our Lord brought to humanity 2000 years ago.
Christmas is a time of renewed call to the purpose for which Christ came to the earth. Despite the time we live in, many hearts leased out to the distractions and vanities of this life, Jesus is the still only one that fills man’s deepest need.
So let us all heed the call to make room for our King and let Him reign in us. May the joy of the Lord and the hope Jesus brings, abide in every one of us.
